LABSAFE Containment Laboratories

There are many inherent advantages to a Microzone Corporation high quality turn-key containment laboratory. For instance, they may be installed within existing buildings of can be integrated into the design of new facilities. All air discharged from these laboratories is HEPA filtered prior to venting. Our air handling systems automatically compensate for filter loadings and thereby maintain consistent negative pressures within the facility over long periods of time. Very little maintenance is required. These free standing, factory built modular laboratories can be assembled and made operational within a few weeks.

There is a single control and gauge panel to continuously monitor the airflows and room pressurizations and ensures that pressurization reversals cannot occur. And in the event of a major spill, the laboratory and associated air handling systems can be properly contained and decontaminated.

The LABSAFE is a negative pressure, directed airflow laboratory that exceeds the requirements of Biosafety Level 3 containment. Generally, one of the hoods inside the laboratory is vented through a by-pass canopy device built into our "Ceiltite" walkable ceiling system. However, if required, these versatile laboratories can be installed and operated without vented hoods.

In addition to our standard LABSAFE laboratories, we offer complete design and engineering services to ensure that custom turn-key laboratories are designed to meet your specialized requirements as well as those of the regulatory agencies.

The LABSAFE Containment Laboratory exceeds the requirements for: Hepatitis, AIDS, Herpes, Tuberculosis, Antineoplastics, Polio, Rabies, Yellow Fever, Rift Valley Fever, St. Louis Encephalitis, and most known Parasitic Agents.
